In China
The reason of my curiosity of homeschooling is that I am from China. I didn’t hear it frequently and it is almost no homeschoolers in china. And the law don’t support it. Actually, when I write this article, I do find some homeschoolers in China. The funny thing is that they are not Chinese, they are from western culture and I think they don’t like the Chinese education system. Sadly, so do I. as a layman to homeschooling, I thinking it is a better way to educate kids before they are 12 years old.
I believe that. How do you think?
Controversy
Controversy
In the 1970s, the modern homeschooling were noticed by many people and the argument was following. People started to think the benefits and disadvantages in homeschooling and also think legality and some social influences. The core of this argument was that homeschooling is a better way to educate our children or not. And the argument still exists until today.
However I am here trying to convince you that the homeschooling is a much better way to educate your children. Clearly, it is hard to decide whether homeschooling or educated at school is right or wrong. The mainstream views of the advantages of homeschooling are around with two words, personalized and flexibility. We can image the meaning without any explanation and analysis. The child can learn anything he wants to study, any time he wants to spend and any level he wants to achieve. The most fascinating part is about its efficiency. A research shows that the high school students who are in school spend a lots time to be waiting. However the homeschooling, they do not have to wait. Turning to results, homeschoolers have more time to play, which is I always dream about. We can’t say which kinds of students are good because of their ACT or SAT scores. The scores can show the results of learning in some ways, but it does not represent for everything of students. Beside I don’t think there is an aim or an achievable line in education, which I mean like in china some called “good students”. The truth for most parents is that they want their children to get better education for having better life. And a little thing we should notice is that homeschooling has lots of time to communication between children and their parents. Do you want to spend a lot of time with you children? I think the answer is yes.
On the opposite, the bad thing in homeschooling can be fixed in somehow. On one Wikipedia, one it says that homeschooling can enhance the potential possibilities of child abuse. Although there is no straight evidence to prove this point, I think it is possible and it is scared. I admit that homeschooling is more private and maybe sometimes child abuse would happen. Thinking it another way, if child abuse happened, what is the determinate reason of it? It is not because of homeschooling, right? Moving on the topic, seriously, the disadvantages of homeschooling are mostly about the time of the parent who teaches their children at home and the socialization problems the homeschoolers have to face. The reason of these disadvantages is the same. It is the core difference between educated in home and in school. However we can do some thing to make better situation against these problems such as using Internet to teach, looking for a teacher or making a schedule of letting children play with other kids in school or other homeschoolers. Anyway, there must be some solutions to make it better. And for the children, who cares using their time comparing the children’s future?

Introduction
I am always believe in education, which can make us smarter and more knowledgeable and which can let us grow up and be aware that what is going on in our society and what can make our life significant. To triumph, I keep thinking how can I get better education or in which way they can provide better education. For most of you, which I mean live in the western culture, there was a way to be educated called homeschooling as known at long time ago. Furthermore, according the figures on Nzherald there were 5976 homeschoolers in 2001 in NZ and based on HSLDA, there are approximately 1,700,000 children are homeschooler in 2003 in USA. And the most different thing from the countries like china is that the western countries such as USA, NZ, Australia, Canada and the UK admit that homeschooling is legal.
Anyway, let’s figure out the definition first. What is homeschooling? From the literal meaning, it is easy to infer that one get education in home instead of traditional school. In other way, it can be explained as families to take the responsibility to educate their children without the professional education institutions and to teach their children some subjects that they chose.
